CAF U-23 AFCON: Nuamah starts from the bench as Tanko makes 4 changes against Guinea

Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko has made four changes from the 1-5 loss to Morocco in search of a winning formula tonight against Guinea in the final Group A match of the 2023 CAF U-23 AFCON.

With Ghana needing victory to progress as runner-ups to Morocco in Group A, Tanko has excluded Ernest Nuamah Appiah, Dominic Nsobila, Aaron Easel and Salim Adams.

GraphicOnline gathers that the tricky FC Norsjaelland star Nuamah has not trained since the loss to Morocco.

In his stead comes skipper Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who was dropped from the second match.

Also making his first start of the contest is Accra Great Olympics defender Samuel Abbey-Ashie Quaye who will be tasked with keeping our the powerful Guineans.

FC Basel's Emmanuel Essiam also returns to the starting eleven with Nathaniel Adjei.
