Chelsea supporters give to orphanage
The Chelsea Supporters Union of Ghana (CHELSUGHA) has donated a double bale of used clothing to the Eye Of The Lord Orphanage.
The donation was made at the premises of the Living Room Sports Bar in East Legon, Accra after the joint’s owner had invited and treated children from the orphanage to some food and drinks.

Mr David Amofah, founder and president of CHELSUGHA, made the donation on behalf of the supporters union.
He said they were touched by the plight of the children after watching a report on their living conditions on a local television station. The donation was therefore to help ease the plight of the children.
According to him, the Chelsea Football Club in the United Kingdom has a big social responsibility programme targeted at children so CHELSUGHA’s donation was just a reflection of that kindness toward children.
Mr Amofah urged parents to register their children with CHELSUGHA to enable them to benefit from a variety of activities which include educational tours to the Chelsea FC grounds at Stamford Bridge in the UK.
He added that CHELSUGHA will this year organise a series of events including a football gala for deprived children.
The owner of Living Room as well as the proprietor of the Eye Of The Lord Orphanage thanked Mr Amofah and CHELSUGHA for their kind gesture.
