Frimpong Manso under pressure - As his team play struggling Oly Saturday

Caretaker coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Frimpong Manso, faces a tough task in restoring confidence in the team and returning them to winning ways against Accra Great Olympics when the Premier League resumes on Saturday.

Fifth-placed Kotoko have not won a league match since losing 0-1 to Hearts on March 19 in Accra and their visits to the nation’s capital have not been favourable this year.

The league took a break to accommodate the President’s Cup match between Hearts and Kotoko last Monday. Now Kotoko face hope to end their slide against an Olympics side who are battling relegation and seeking to bounce back under Swedish coach Tom Strand.

Hearts will hope to ride on their 3-1 win over Kotoko last Monday to stop league leaders WAFA in their tracks in the topmost fixture of Matchday 14 slated for Monday due to the international rugby tournament taking place at the Accra Stadium.

In the other encounters on Sunday, Inter Allies will travel to the Utrecht Academy park at Tamale to play against Bolga All Stars, Ebusua Dwarfs will also be at the Cape Coast Stadium to welcome bottom-placed Ashgold, while Medeama SC host Elmina Sharks at the Tarkwa T & A park.

The Carl Reindorf park at Dansoman will produce fireworks as regional rivals Liberty Professionals and Tema Youth lock horns. 

Aduana Stars and Chelsea will also engage in another regional derby, while defending champions Wa All Stars welcome Bechem United to Wa.
