Ghana ranks 38 in latest FIFA rankings

Ghana has moved up three places in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola rankings released Thursday, to now perch at the 38th position. Previously Ghana logged in at the 41st position before recording a win and a draw against Mozambique in March.
Algeria, Africa's best placed candidate on the log, is 33rd on the world stage, followed closely at 34th by Cote d’Ivoire.
Argentina remains the best soccer nation in the world, followed by Belgium and Chile at second and third positions respectively.
Two-time European Champions Spain dropped three positions to take the 6th position.
