Graphic Sports reporter wins award

Organisers of the Accra Milo Marathon last Monday adjudged Graphic Sports’ report on the 2013 Accra Milo Marathon as the overall Best Story in the Print category.

Peter Sarbah’s story was selected among a pool of stories that was submitted for the competition among media personnel was organised for the 2013 Accra Milo Marathon. He was presented with a crystal plaque and an undisclosed cash prize.

The award was originally scheduled to be presented last year but was postponed to coincide with this year’s race, following the cancellation of the marathon last year after the outbreak of the Ebola virus in West Africa.

Other winners on the day were Metro TV’s Phil Jonny Quartey (Best Story for Television), Happy FM’s Osei Assibey (Best Report for Radio) as well as Michael Abayateye of Ghanaian Times (Best Reporter for Print).
