The Brand Manager of Guinness, Wilma Amoo-Osae expressed enthusiasm about this year's event, describing it as bigger and better than previous editions.

"The energy was palpable, and this year’s event truly stood out," Amoo-Osae remarked.

She also highlighted the exciting opportunity for participants in the Guinness Ghana FPL, who could win a fully-funded trip to England next season to watch a Premier League match live.

“This time, we’ve introduced the Guinness FPL, where the ultimate winner will be rewarded with an all-expenses-paid trip to England to watch an EPL game next season,” Amoo-Osae explained.

The event also served as the launchpad for Guinness Ghana’s football-themed movie, which will be available on Showmax, adding another layer of entertainment for football enthusiasts.

"The next event will be even more spectacular," she promised.

As a longstanding sponsor of the English Premier League, Guinness has deepened its connection with football. Amoo-Osae highlighted the strong bond between Guinness and football, stating, "When it comes to football, Guinness has always been the perfect match. This time, as the official beer sponsor of the English Premier League, our involvement is even more special, and we have much more planned with the EPL."

The atmosphere during the match was electric, with fans intently watching as Chelsea dominated the first half but failed to convert their chances against the reigning champions.

Manchester City broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Erling Haaland latched onto a pass from Bernardo Silva to put his team ahead. The victory was sealed in the 84th minute when Mateo Kovacic, returning to Stamford Bridge, struck from outside the box to secure all three points for Pep Guardiola's side.
