Oduro was playing his second match of the season after returning from an ankle injury when he suffered his latest setback in the fourth minute of last Saturday's Hearts 4-2 loss on penalties to Samartex.

The club’s physiotherapist, Okyere Baffour Agyei, confirmed in an audio posted on the club's official facebook page that the defender fractured his fibula and had since had his leg placed in a cast.

“Isaac Oduro from our match with Samartex had an injury in the early stages of the game and we quickly rushed him to the Samreboi Hospital,”he stated.

Mr Agyei further disclosed that it would take a minimum of six weeks for the cast to be removed and about two weeks for rehabilitation.
