Kwadwo Asamoah makes debut for Cagliari
Ghana’s Kwadwo Asamoah made his debut for his new club, Cagliari, during their Serie A league game against Crotone on Sunday.
The 31-year-old left-back came off the bench in the 77th minute to replace Joao Pedro after his team had been reduced to 10 men after Charalampos Lykogiannis was sent off in the 75th minute.
Asamoah’s 13 minutes on the pitch proved vital as it gave manager, Leonado Simplici an opportunity to fairly access him since joining the club on a free transfer during the transfer window.
