Loya Basketball tourney Friday

A two-day 2014 Loya/After 7 Basketball Tournament tips off on Friday at the University of Cape Coast Basketball Court.

Four teams  will compete for honours in the women’s category with 10 teams vying  for the mens’ championship.

The women’s championship will feature teams such as Accra Civilians select side, Accra Security Services select Side, Reformers and Cape Coast.

The mens’ championship will also have the hosts, After 7,  who will  be defending their trophy against teams from Koforidua, Kumasi, Ho, Tema, Cantonments, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Accra Civilians select side and Accra Security services select side.

 The After 7 club was formed in 1997 and featured  a group of young men, who, due to their schedules,  only came together after 7:00p.m. to exercise.
