Meet Joselle Mensah: Ghana's highest-ranked female swimmer

She earned her spot as Ghana's highest-ranked female swimmer by World Aquatics, with an impressive time of 26.52 seconds in the Women's 50m Freestyle event at the 2023 African Games in Ghana.

Born to a Ghanaian father in Germany, Joselle recently graduated from Lindenwood University in Missouri, USA.
There, she represented her institution in the Summit League Championships and other collegiate competitions, showcasing her talent and determination. She also made her mark in the German National Age-Group Championships.
The Paris Games will be her second time representing Ghana, following her strong performance at the African Games in March, where she narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing fourth in the Women's 50m Freestyle event.
