Mixed fortunes in swimming, badminton
Ghana's Sowah Christa Kaimansa and Mark Ofosu Turum failed to make an impression in swimming as they both finished last in the 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke heats respectively at the Complex de Nautique Swimming Centre in Kintele.
Ghana also lost out in the badminton event when the male team failed to progress to the semi-final after losing 1-3 to Mauritius.
