MTN CEO to grace SWAG Awards

The CEO of MTN Ghana, Ebenezer Asante, will be among the dignitaries to grace the 40th MTN SWAG Awards slated for Saturday, October 3 at the Banquet Hall of the State House in Accra.

Mr Asante, the first Ghanaian to head the communication giants, has confirmed his participation in the annual awards event at which 25 sportsmen and women and corporate bodies will be honoured for their outstanding contribution to the development of Ghana sports in 2015.

The event will be held on the theme, ‘The Search for Sustainable Funding for Sports…the role of the private sector’.

The MTN boss will deliver a speech to state the company’s commitment to investing in Ghana sports as well as deepening its long-standing relationship with SWAG.

Since its inception in 1974, the MTN-SWAG Awards event has been Ghana’s most esteemed celebration of sporting excellence and provided the biggest platform to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Ghana sports.
