Ronaldo gets role in next Fast and Furious film, Vin Diesel confirms

Cristiano Ronaldo may soon be trading football boots for fast cars and big-screen action, as Fast & Furious star and producer Vin Diesel has confirmed the football icon’s involvement in the franchise’s upcoming finale, according to Hollywoodreporter.com.

Diesel shared the news on Instagram on Friday after meeting Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia. Posting a photo of the two giving thumbs up, the actor revealed that a role has been written specifically for the Portuguese superstar.

“Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one,” Diesel captioned the post. “We wrote a role for him…”

The announcement instantly went viral, sparking excitement among both football and film fans, with many imagining Ronaldo in high-speed chases and explosive action scenes.

Although no official casting announcement has been made, fans believe the role is intended for Fast & Furious 11, the planned conclusion to the main saga. Diesel later edited his caption, further fueling speculation about Ronaldo’s involvement.

The two stars reportedly met after Diesel attended a match involving Ronaldo’s club, Al Nassr. Their friendly encounter quickly became a major talking point once the Instagram post surfaced.

This is not the first time Ronaldo has been linked to acting. Diesel had previously mentioned years ago that a role was written for him, though it never materialised. This time, however, the timing appears more significant as the franchise moves toward its final chapter.

Social media reactions were swift and humorous. One viral post joked, “We got Ronaldo in Fast and Furious before GTA 6,” while another imagined the football star celebrating a street race victory with his trademark “SIUUU.”
