Mr Kevin Hall, the Managing Director of Solmed, at the presentation ceremony in Accra urged the shooters to make themselves and the nation proud at the Games.

Mr Hall, in a philanthropic manner,  presented 100 pounds each spending money to the athletes: Emmanuel Koli Appiah, Joseph Dzorvakpor, Douglas Asirifi Danquah, Mercy Chodo, Philomena Sapak and Rose Mensah Nyarko for their stay in Glasgow during the Games which begins on July 23.

The chairman of the GNRA, Cillian George Walsh, thanked Solmed Ghana Limited for its kind gesture, saying “with your fantastic support, we are committed to going there to make an impact”.
