The firm already has Black Stars defender John Boye and former Accra Hearts of Oak striker Ezekiel Tetteh on their books but has now entered Ghana with a goal to recruit at least 16 athletes per year in all sporting disciplines across the country.

According to the CEO of Prolific Sports Inc, Kenny Andam, sports has made a valuable contribution to economies across the world and Ghana is yet to benefit massively from this because of the failure to properly manage athletes.

"We are not agents, we manage sports people and athletes. We will use our connections to help you reach your goals but we are also concerned with the lives of athletes and how they can impact on the lives of their families and country even in retirement," the former national athlete contended.

Speaking at the launch in Accra, the Deputy Sports Minister, Vincent Oppong Asamoah, gave Prolific Sports Inc his seal of approval, vouching for their expertise and credibility in sports management.

He bemoaned how unscrupulous individuals over the years had taken advantage of Ghanaian sportsmen and sportswomen, often abandoning them in foreign countries.
