Table Tennis Association gets ITTF certified competition manager

Treasurer of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), Mr William Berekorang Asare has successfully completed International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) regional competition management examination.

He completed the exams on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

The certification exam was conducted and monitored by Mr. Omar Refaat Bassyouni of the International Table Tennis Developmental Department.

Mr. Asare, who was a former table tennis player, progressed through many ranks, leveraging on his experience and passion for the sport led him to achieve this prestigious certification.

His role in the GTTA has been evident over the years, and this achievement further underscores his commitment to promoting and developing table tennis in Ghana.

With this new certification, Asare joins an elite group of professionals who have demonstrated the skills and knowledge required to manage International Table Tennis competitions.

Mr. Asare, an ITTF certified Competition Manager, is expected to enhance the association’s credibility and capacity to host international competitions.
