Taekwondo: xTKD Champs to nurture talents — Otu

The president of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF), Master Frederick Otu, has given an assurance to nurture and develop  the potential of the youth interested  in Taekwondo for them to be future stars.

Speaking  to Daily Graphic in an interview, Master Otu said the xTKD Open Championship slated for today and tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium  will unearth talents  for the country.

“The competition will help athletes perform better on the world stage since it is a global sport”, he noted.

The championship, being organised by the xTKD Taekwondo Foundation, in collaboration with the GTF for  categories, such as seniors, juniors, cadet and para taekwondo divisions , will involve  breaking, sparring, forms and taekwondo aerobics  

Master Otu,  stressed that the championship will help athletes perform on their very best on the world stage.
