Frimpong, who missed the Porcupine Warriors’ last game against Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs while on international duty with the local Black Stars, is expected to retain his captainship as his side face a huge test against Bechem who have not lost at home this season, having won four games and drawn one.

The 25-year-old wing-back conceded that the team was enjoying a smooth run so far in the Premier League under Coach Michael Osei and was confident his side would leave Bechem with the maximum points.

He admitted that Bechem United had posted an impressive home record this season but he was not perturbed by the homesters invicibility.

Bechem have won four and drawn one out of five home games this season.

“The team is gradually rediscovering its winning form and we the players are very happy with our current form.

We know how difficult playing away to Bechem United, especially this season but this is football and we can break their record. Of course it is not beyond us,” Frimpong added.

I can assure you we will beat them and that’s what we will do. I, therefore, urge our fans to turn up in their numbers and we will not let them down”, he stated.
