Through the Bolt Food app, customers in Kumasi can now order from well-known restaurants including KFC, Pizzaman Chickenman, Aboude, Starbites, Peterpan, Sweet Roses, Noble House, Super MC, and Pice Pizza. This expansion aligns with Bolt Food's goal to enhance dining convenience, offer greater choice to customers, and support the growth of local restaurants.
Speaking on the expansion, Bolt Food General Manager Ali Zaryab expressed the company’s enthusiasm about reaching more Ghanaians with reliable food delivery. “Expanding to Kumasi is a great and exciting step for Bolt Food as we work to make quality food more accessible across Ghana, conveniently,” Zaryab noted. “We are happy to bring Kumasi’s residents the convenience of having their favorite meals delivered to their doorstep, while also offering new opportunities for restaurants to reach a wider customer base, and couriers in Kumasi, an opportunity to earn an income.”
Economic boost and job opportunities for Kumasi
The Kumasi expansion not only provides added convenience for residents but also creates new income-generating opportunities for local couriers. With Bolt Food’s strong success in Accra, the company is following a model that has proven to benefit both customers and partner restaurants. Bolt’s presence in Kumasi is expected to help local eateries increase their reach while supporting the city’s economy with more job opportunities.
Bolt’s continued growth across Africa
Bolt, which has a presence in over 45 countries and more than 500 cities globally, offers various services beyond food delivery, including ride-hailing and Bolt Business for corporate travel. With this Kumasi launch, Bolt Food strengthens its commitment to providing diverse services that meet local needs and drive economic growth.
