QM: Tell me about your TBSC journey with UDS
Personally, my TBSC journey with UDS was one that was quite inspiring. It being my first time to be a participant on a quiz, a lot of nervousness and anxiety was expected.
After various series of quizzes and mock sessions held by our business school, I was finally selected as a participant to represent the school on a national level to compete with other business schools.
QM: How was the feeling like on winning the competition in 2020?
First of all, I would say winning the trophy in 2020 was something I could never confidently tell from the beginning, considering the kind of schools we were scheduled to compete with. After winning the ultimate trophy against the most feared opponent in the competition at the final, the feeling was so great. I was very proud of myself, my other colleagues and my school.
QM: What were some of the challenges faced, lessons learnt, and key takeaways from the TBSC platform?
My main challenge was the fact that I was not used to being a participant on a quiz before, especially a national quiz telecast on live national television with thousands of audiences, the anxiety and nervousness from the hot seat was just overwhelming and sometimes affected my ability to respond to questions confidently.

Consequently, I have learnt to remain calm in tensed situations to be at my best in any situation not only in a quiz situation but in all endeavours of life.
QM: What were some of the key takeaways from the TBSC platform?
I can confidently say today that after winning that contest and the experiences I gained, I live my life as a winner with a mind-set that everything is possible with focus and consistency. I have believed in my capabilities more than ever and this mind-set has been a great asset in all endeavours of my education and career right till today.
QM: What do you currently do and how has the TBSC shaped you afterward (Impact of TBSC, if any)?

My main advice to schools and students who want to participate in this quiz is to be serious about their preparation. Prepare adequately before approaching this quiz to perform well and raise the prestige of their business schools.

QM: Any final comments for Version 6.0 schools?
This version (6.0) will be very competitive, and I urge schools and participants alike to prepare adequately way ahead before the commencement of the contest.
Contestants should remain calm and relaxed to be at their best and give a good contest.
