Sarsoli Industries to Spotlight Africa’s Plastics Innovation at K 2025

Sarsoli Industries, a Nigerian masterbatch manufacturer, is set to return to the world’s largest plastics trade fair, K 2025, as part of efforts to highlight Africa’s growing role in global plastics innovation. The international fair, scheduled for October 8-15 in Düsseldorf, Germany, will run under the theme “The Power of Plastics: Green, Smart, Responsible.”

Bringing together more than 3,000 exhibitors and over 220,000 visitors from more than 160 countries, the K Fair has become a global platform for product launches, technical exchange, and policy dialogue, shaping the future of plastics. Sarsoli’s participation, marking its fourth consecutive appearance since its debut in 2013, reflects the company’s resilience and its commitment to positioning Africa as a vital contributor to the evolving global plastics and petrochemical industry.

“K has consistently delivered exposure and real industry relevance, connecting us with decision-makers who understand innovation, value sustainability, and shape the future of plastics,” said Jaiprakash Changrani, Managing Director of Sarsoli Industries. “Our continued presence at K reflects our belief that Africa, particularly Nigeria, has a critical voice in that dialogue. This year, we’re proud to again contribute West Africa’s perspective to the global movement toward circularity, digital transformation, and inclusive trade.”

The Düsseldorf event has become synonymous with international collaboration and innovation in plastics, rubber, and petrochemicals, with this year’s edition placing special emphasis on sustainability, biodiversity, and inclusive global trade. According to Messe Düsseldorf’s West African representative, Itua Akhigbe, the fair is more than an exhibition. “We’re not just showcasing products at the K Fair; we’re piloting real-world solutions and creating a catalyst for sustainable industry transformation. Exhibitors and visitors return here because K delivers both visibility and value: a platform where sustainable ideas, digital innovation, and global partnerships take shape,” he noted.

At K 2025, Sarsoli Industries will showcase recent advances in product development and sustainability, including high-dispersion masterbatches designed to improve recyclability, digitised production workflows that reduce energy consumption and waste, and recyclable additive solutions aligned with global smart manufacturing trends. The company has also expanded into large-scale production of high-quality calcium carbonate powder, reducing reliance on imports from countries such as Turkey and Egypt.

Sarsoli has steadily grown its regional presence, exporting to Ghana and other ECOWAS markets while leveraging trade incentives and aligning with international standards. Its participation at K 2025 is expected to further strengthen its global partnerships and spotlight Africa’s innovation capacity in an industry under increasing pressure to reduce waste, conserve energy, and embrace circular economy models.

K 2025 will once again serve as the global hub for dialogue and action in plastics innovation, with Africa’s presence—led by firms like Sarsoli Industries—continuing to gain recognition and influence in shaping the sector’s future.
