The new mum took to her social media pages to announce to her fans the birth of their first child.
Simi shared a photo of her baby girl and her father, Adekunle Gold, on her official Instagram page.
The singer is said to have delivered on Saturday, May 30, 2020.
She mentioned her newborn baby’s name as Adejare.
Simi described childbirth and motherhood as a great experience.
“It’s like free-falling – this unending, soul snatching, infinite, mind-boggling love”, she wrote.
The singer promised to take very good care of her daughter.
“Deja, my baby girl, I got you. I promise. Now and forever. So help me God,” she added.
Adekunle Gold was seen kissing his daughter’s hand in the photo shared by Simi. He also shared the same photo on Instagram.
