Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, last Saturday, September 26, kicked off the next stage of his Go Higher Tour with a concert at the Tamale Sports Stadium, in the Northern Region.

The concert which is in partnership with Burniton Music Group, Sleek Media Group and Ruff Money Records brought together some of Ghana’s top acts including Samini, VVIP, DXD among others.

The Go Higher Tour started at Ashiaman, Mandela Park some weeks ago before moving on to Tamale. Some supporting acts on the night included Maccasio, MAK D, S.K.Y and Masaany.

In an interview with Carl Digiglo, manager of Stonebwoy, he told Showbiz that the Go Higher Tour was to have taken place earlier but had to be postponed because of the death of Stonebwoy’s mom.

“The first edition of the concert held in Ashiaman was a tribute to Stonebwoy’s mom and to commemorate her life,” he said.

He said the reigning  International Act, Africa winner is using the tour as an opportunity to get closer to his fans and to thank them for their support and dedication throughout the years.

He revealed there were plans to replicate the concert across the country in Kumasi, Tarkoradi, Ho although the dates for these locations were yet to be announced.

“Stonebwoy’s latest hit song,  Go Higher is an inspirational song and we just want to use the occasion of the tour to motivate our fans and tell them to keep supporting us, just as they have always done,” he said.
