Absa Bank returns to Tidal Rave Festival

Absa Bank Ghana has announced an exciting new partnership package for this year’s Tidal Rave Festival, promising festival-goers, known as “Ravers,” a more immersive experience that blends entertainment, entrepreneurship, and digital banking.

The 2025 edition of the festival will take place at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra and will span two days. The first day, November 14, will be an exclusive, invite-only event open to VIP and Wild Card ticket holders, while the second day, November 15, will welcome the general public.

Absa Bank’s return to the festival marks its third consecutive year of collaboration, introducing new offers including the “Red Ticket” — a special early-bird discount available through the bank’s Spark App. The initiative reinforces Absa’s commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, and lifestyle banking.

“Absa Bank is back for the third time with more exciting deals for Ravers,” said Charles Addo, Director of Retail Banking at Absa Bank. “One is supporting young entrepreneurs again with the vendor market, and providing Ravers with affordable, digital-first banking that fits seamlessly into their everyday lives. Then we also have the exciting deal of the Red Ticket, which is a special early-bird discount code for our new users of the Spark App by Absa Bank.”

He explained that new users who download the Spark App from the App Store or Play Store and complete their registration will receive a discount code to purchase Tidal Rave tickets at a reduced rate via the festival’s official website, www.tidalravefestival.com

Absa’s presence at Tidal Rave has grown beyond sponsorship, becoming a platform for youth entrepreneurship and creativity. Through initiatives like the “Ignition Market,” Absa has supported over 150 young vendors to showcase products and services to more than 40,000 festival-goers in the past two years, generating visibility and income for start-ups.

The partnership has also featured the “Fireside Chats” series, where business leaders and creative entrepreneurs engage directly with Ravers in discussions about innovation, resilience, and financial growth.

By integrating technology, business empowerment, and entertainment, Absa Bank’s continued involvement seeks to transform the festival into a hub of opportunity. The bank aims to ensure that attendees not only enjoy music and culture but also gain exposure to practical tools for entrepreneurship and personal development.

“With the Spark App and Red Ticket, we are giving Ravers more than an experience — we are giving them access, empowerment, and value,” Mr Addo added.

This year’s collaboration underscores Absa Bank’s philosophy that banking extends beyond financial transactions to building meaningful connections and igniting potential among Ghana’s youth.
