Blessed Dee, based in Tamale made an entry on to the music scene when he emerged the ultimate winner of Amana Radio’s Rap Competition in 2018.

In 2019, he was the first runner-up at the Sagani TV Chop The Mic Competition and also took home the 3Music Awards Next Rated Act in 2021.

All these streak of successes have been a booster for the young chap whose songs such as WhatsUp  and One Star, both  produced by TizzleBeats, Multi Socket (produced by Ojah drums) and DeyBreak (produced by ZeebraBeats) have earned him a good spot in the five regions up North.

His music influence in the Northern part of the country was evident when Blessed Dee was crowned Rapper of the Year at this year’s Northern Entertainment Awards (NEA) held at the Tamale GNAT Hall recently.

Blessed Dee, known for his dexterity in rap, beat seven fellow rappers from the five Northern Regions to emerge winner.

In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Blessed Dee noted the contributions of his fans to his music growth and successes in his career.

He pointed out that he would have probably given up, just like many young artistes and lost his dreams if his followers didn’t believe in his abilities.

“It’s really tough for every young artiste because the industry doesn’t have proper structures to support and that is why I give my fans all the praises for the accomplishments I have chalked in these few years.

“They buy, listen, share my music and attend my shows and their support has always been a big inspiration to me,” he stated.

Last year, he held his maiden concert that thrilled fans and Blessed Dee hopes to entertain and connect with them again at another show scheduled later in the year.
