‘Mara Clara’ on TV Africa

After bringing viewers seasons of  exciting television series and soap operas like Don’t Mess With An Angel, Jacobs Cross, Triumph Of Love, Edge of Paradise and  Doctors Quarters,  TV Africa has just started showing  another intriguing and emotional soap opera  from the Philippines called  Mara Clara.

Mara and Clara were switched after birth. Mara lived as the poor daughter of the couple Susan and Gary David  while Clara, their real daughter, was brought up by the rich Amante and Alvira Del Valle. 

The good-natured Del Valle couple takes in Mara as a servant and decides to spend on her education, not knowing that she is their real daughter. 

Gary, who is actually a gangster, approves of the idea that Mara lives with the Del Valle to extort money. Clara makes life for Mara difficult. But, as time progresses, they find their true identities. Damages are paid and  they all know where they stand.

Mara Clara shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 9.00pm on TV Africa.
