Hip-hop artiste Sarkodie has announced that he is taking a break from making music for the rest of the year.
The rapper in a series of said he was stepping back from the microphone to focus on the career of his protege Akwaboah.
On Thursday evening Sark tweeted that he was not going to "drop a record" till next year because Akwaboah has the Song of the Year in a yet to be released track titled, Hello.
He confirmed his decision to take a hiatus in a response to a fan on Friday.
Hello features Sarkodie and the rapper is predicting that it will be a smash-hit and take the nation by storm.
Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr., known by his stage name Akwaboah Jnr, is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter signed to Sarkodie's Sarkcess Music record label.
