This, he said, would enable them to excel wherever they find themselves.

Rev. Father Frimpong was speaking at the 10th Career Day celebration of the school to encourage the children to appreciate professionalism and learn about the various professions.

Reverend Father Frimpong advised the students to “learn in order to be able to bring change to what you do; whatever you desire in life, you should aspire and do it with your hearts”.

He added that true happiness could only be found in life if people did what their hearts truly desire and ensure to develop the habit of doing things without being mediocre.”

After entertaining the guests, the children interacted with the resource persons from the various professions which included the military, make-up artists, doctors, traders, farmers, bankers, fashion designers, footballers, journalists and interior decorators.

A makeup artist and parent, Mrs Augustina Dsane-Selby, told the Junior Graphic in an interview that she was grateful to the school authorities for such a great occasion.

She added that the Career Day was a very good initiative which would help the children to make informed decisions in the choice of careers.
