Opoku Ware School, affectionately known as OWASS, took a significant stride towards clinching their third National Science and Maths Quiz title following a hard-fought victory in today's semi-final.
Having secured the coveted NSMQ title in 1997 and 2002, the spirited students from Santasi displayed an exceptional level of prowess that proved too formidable for their competitors, Pope John Senior High School & Minor Seminary, and Prempeh College, in the second semi-final of the day.

In a fiercely contested battle, Opoku Ware School emerged victorious with a slender two-point margin, securing their spot in the final.

As an exciting highlight of the 30th Anniversary celebrations, this year's NSMQ is being hosted in two distinct regions: KNUST in Kumasi and National Theatre in Accra.
This historic occurrence represents the first time the National Championship spans across two regions. KNUST serves as the venue for the Preliminary four stages of the competition, with the Grand Finale scheduled at the National Theatre.
