9 Honoured by Dayspring Christian University

Nine personalities, noted for outstanding achievements in various fields of human endeavour, have been awarded honourary doctorate degrees by Dayspring Christian University.

Among them are the Black Stars coach, Kwasi Appiah, and Dr John Daniel Otoo, Managing Director of Capital O2 Natural Health Company Limited. 

The ceremony took place at the University of Ghana, Legon, under the auspices of the Diplomatic College, an affiliate of the US-based Dayspring University while Coach Kwasi Appiah was honoured for proving the capabilities of Africans in managing their own national teams, Dr Daniel Otoo was singled out for his role in taking natural remedies, especially plant medicine, out of the realms of mysticism into empiricism. 

Because of the efforts of people like Dr Otoo and companies like Capital O2, herbal medicine is now approached as a science, requiring diagnoses and knowledge of the human body.
