Access Bank rewards money transfer customers

Access Bank Ghana, one of the direct agents of Western Union and MoneyGram in Ghana, is rewarding all customers who receive money from their families, loved ones and business partners this season with instant gifts.

The campaign, dubbed, “Gye na Gye promotion”, is also rewarding customers who use the bank’s Cross Border Transfer product to either send or receive money to and from Nigeria.

Access Bank has developed the unique money transfer product, the Cross Border Transfer, to facilitate movement of cash and trade between Ghana and Nigeria in order to reduce the challenges that many businesses face.

The rewards, which could be received at any of the 39 branches of the bank nationwide, include free instant phone credit vouchers and an opportunity to win other souvenirs such as shopping vouchers and shopping bags.

The Group Head of Personal Banking, Mr Stephen Abban, told a section of the media in Accra yesterday that the campaign was launched to show appreciation to loyal customers who continued to patronise the bank’s money transfer products.

“Our free phone credit vouchers will enable recipients to call their loved ones right after they have received their cash from our locations. We believe that this gesture will foster trust, as well as healthy family and business bonds,” he said.

He said with Access Bank’s modern technology and strategic locations across the country, thousands of customers were guaranteed prompt service delivery at all times.

Mr Abban explained that “Gye na Gye promotion”, which was expected to run from June to August, would reward over 50,000 customers and non-customers of the bank who used the money transfer services.
