A building under construction at Roman Ridge in Accra, near the Ghana Institute of Engineers (GhIE) building collapsed on Tuesday afternoon, trapping several workers beneath the rubble.
Emergency response teams from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) rushed to the scene and managed to rescue about 14 construction workers, who were found in critical condition.
The injured were transported to the 37 Military Hospital and the Ridge Hospital for urgent medical attention.
