Ridge Hospital has in recent times benefited from the deeds of several philanthropists and benevolent organisations.

The hospital is still confronted with challenges such as inadequate beds and spacious facilities to serve the many patients that throng the facility for treatment. This compels authorities to admit and treat patients on the benches at the out patients department (OPD).

Health workers lament that this challenge is an impediment to their daily operations.

The gesture by Alisa Hotels is a move to help ease the difficulties health workers go through in the line of their duties.

The items donated include; bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, gloves, detergents, Dettol and boxes of bottled  water.

The Sales and Marketing Manager of Alisa Hotels, Sylvia Osei-Mensah, said the donation formed part of their annual corporate social responsibility to assist the poor and needy in the society.

She also pledged the willingness of the management to assist the hospital anytime they needed their help.

For his part, the head of administration at the hospital, Mr Emmanuel Taadi, commended Alisa for their benevolence, adding that the donation was timely, and that they would use the items for  the intended purpose.

Meanwhile, Alisa has over the years used its platform to assist the New Life Orphanage at Teshie, the North Ridge Hospital and Dzorwulu Special School, among others.
