Addressing the GACL team and other officers subsequently, Mr Wumborti emphasised the importance of a proactive safety culture within Ghana’s aviation ecosystem.
“Our mandate as a bureau is not just to investigate accidents and incidents after they occur, but more importantly, to prevent them.
This visit is to ensure that protocols are not only in place but are actively being implemented to safeguard lives and assets,” he stated.
He commended the airport authorities for their efforts in maintaining high safety standards and urged continuous vigilance and regular training to keep pace with global best practices.
