Appolonia City has reaffirmed its commitment to community development with a cash donation to the Appolonia Methodist Lay Mission.
The presentation was made during the mission’s annual general meeting held at the Methodist Church at Appolonia recently.
The donation is aimed at supporting the church’s ongoing community development efforts, including social outreach and other development projects that benefit both the congregation and the wider Appolonia community.
The Board Chairman of Appolonia City, Daniel Tetteh, who led the team to present the donation, thanked the church for its contributions to the community’s development.
“This gesture reflects Appolonia City's deep connection to the community and its commitment to partnering with institutions that promote socio-economic, spiritual and cultural well-being,” he said.
Among the delegation was the Country Head for Rendeavour Ghana and Managing Director of Appolonia City, Perminas Marisi.
Gratitude
Leaders of the Methodist Lay Mission expressed their gratitude to Appolonia City, describing the support as timely and impactful.
The Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso, Joseph Akuerteh Tetteh, also thanked Appolonia City for the donation and praised the company for its contribution to Ghana’s development.
“We are excited about the opportunity to showcase Appolonia City as a benchmark for inclusive and sustainable urban development in Ghana, and we look forward to collaborating with both local and international partners to scale up investment,” he said.
The donation adds to Appolonia City’s broader efforts in corporate social responsibility, which include investments in education, health, and infrastructure within the local community.
