Okudzeto Ablakwa presents wheelchairs to constituents
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has donated 100 wheelchairs to individuals with physical disabilities within his constituency.
He said the gesture was part of his ongoing commitment to support the vulnerable in his constituency, as well as express gratitude to his constituents following each election cycle.

Mr Ablakwa conveyed his gratitude to the constituents for their support and pledged to enhance his service to them moving forward.
“This year, 100 wheelchairs have been donated to my special constituents," he stated.
Mr Ablakwa stated that four years ago, he paid for the medical bills of children on admission at the Catholic Hospital, Battor following his victory in the 2020 election.
“The gesture is in line with my tradition of offering a little gesture of appreciation to my beloved constituents immediately after every election victory.
"Four years ago, we took care of the medical bills of children on admission at the Children’s Ward of the Battor Catholic Hospital. The tradition continues. Thank you for our 93.12% victory. I shall serve you better than ever,” he said.
Mr Ablakwa successfully retained the North Tongu seat, securing 41,073 votes to beat Dr John Savior Eleblu Yao of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who had 3,035 votes.
