He said ongoing road construction works, provision of educational structures, supply of potable water, building of health facilities and improvement of the air and sea ports were evidence of this.

Speaking at a meeting held by the Oforikrom Constituency Youth Wing of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Kumasi, Mr Osei advised Ghanaians to be patient, understandable and stand solidly behind the government as it worked zealously to ensure socio-economic progress.

The party’s youth had met to plan ways of broadening the NDC’s support base in the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

Mr Osei encouraged them to tell the success story of the Mahama Administration to help people to appreciate efforts being made to better their lives.

He spoke of the party’s determination to continue working passionately to sustain the growth of the economy  through aggressive infrastructural development.

Mr Brogya Genfi, Ashanti Regional NDC Youth Organiser, asked the party supporters to work hard to retain the party in power in 2016.

“I expect all of us to work hard in our various capacities for victory,” he stated.
