Graphic holds economic dialogue

The Graphic Communications Group Ltd (GCGL), in partnership with the Fidelity Bank Ltd, is holding a day’s breakfast meeting dubbed, “Graphic-Fidelity economic dialogue”.

The meeting is bringing together former and current ministers of Finance to discuss the state of the economy.

The panellists are Mr Kwame Pianim,  Mr Seth Terkper, the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning; Mr Yaw Osafo-Marfo, a former Minister of Finance;  Dr Anthony Akoto Osei, a former Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, and Mr Moses Asaga, a former Deputy Minister of Finance.

The meeting, which will begin at 7.30 a.m today - Tuesday and end at 10 a.m at the Alisa Hotel, North Ridge in Accra, will be beamed live on Multi TV and Citi 97.3 FM.

According to the Public Affairs Department of the GCGL, about 200 captains of industry would be participating and it is anticipated that the deliberations of the panellists would help forge national unity.

It emphasised that national development required the participation of all, devoid of partisan politics, “because all sides of the political divide have a stake in national development”.

The forum is being sponsored by the Fidelity Bank and supported by such reputable media organisations such as Citi 97.3 FM as well as the Graphic Business and GraphicOnline.
