The Chairman of the Greater Accra Newspaper Agents and Vendors Association (GANAVA), Mr Stephen Egon, was last Saturday ordained as a reverend minister of the International Gateway Chapel in Accra.
Performing the ceremony, the President of the Apostles Bishops Ordination Institute of Ghana, Archbishop Eugene F. Philips, advised men of God to follow the ethics of the profession in all their endeavours because they were role models in society.
Mr Egon became a newspaper vendor at the age of 16 and has been in the business for the past 44 years.
He was elected Chairman of GANAVA in 2007.
