Kantamanto trader swindles business woman
For allegedly stealing two bags containing various sums of money and personal items, a Kantamanto based Nigerian trader has been hauled before court.
Ikena Uche, 22, was charged with stealing two bags containing 143.00 CFA and GH¢43.00, together with personal items and documents, belonging to Sherifatu Adewosi.

Uche pleaded not guilty to the charge when he was presented to the court presided over by Mr James Kojo Botah.
He was subsequently granted bail in the sum of GH¢2000, with a surety. The case was adjourned to September 6, 2016.
The facts of the case, presented by Inspector John Gohoho to the court, were that on August 16, 2016 at 11 p.m. Sherifatu, a Nigerian business woman, arrived in Ghana on transit to Abidjan but missed the bus.
She, therefore, decided to wait till the next day. While waiting, she took medicine to ease a pain in her right arm after which she dozed off.
