KNUST expands facilities

A state-of-the-art studio has been inaugurated by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) as part of efforts to provide practical means for accomplishing its distance learning programme.

E-learning centre

The E-learning centre, established through a collaboration between the government of Ghana and India, has the objective of enabling students of either country studying in universities in their host countries to learn without difficulties. 

The centre has two separate recording studios and a multi-purpose 20-seater conference room that can be used for holding classes online, for online meetings , conferences and for thesis presentation.

ICT laboratory

The Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, Prof. William Otoo-Ellis, also on the occasion inaugurated a fully-furnished 100-seater ICT laboratory with computers and a multi-purpose conference centre.
