Nana Konadu denies using police escort

Former First lady, Nana Konadu Rawlings has denied media reports that she uses a police escort when travelling from Adjiringano to the central business district of Accra.
A press statement from the Office of H.E. Jerry John Rawlings Tuesday stressed that Mrs Rawlings drives to the central business district daily without escort.
“We are reliably informed it is rather one Chris Wilmot who enjoys the luxury of police escort to and from the Adjiringano/Trasacco area and not Mrs. Rawlings as has been erroneously portrayed,” the statement said.
