The Ghana Police Service has assured applicants who successfully completed the medical examination for the ongoing 2025/2026 recruitment exercise but are yet to be invited for document validation that they remain under consideration and will be called in subsequent batches.
In a press statement issued on August 1, 2026, the Service said the recruitment process is progressing in phases, with successful applicants being invited batch by batch to various centres across the country for validation.
According to the Police, the exercise is intended to verify applicants’ academic certificates, examination results and other documents submitted during the initial stage of the recruitment process.
The Service said the first batch of successful applicants has already been invited and is currently undergoing the validation process.
It however, sought to allay the concerns of applicants who are yet to receive invitations, stressing that “all other applicants who successfully completed the medical examination and have been declared medically fit but have not been invited for validation are in the recruitment pool for consideration in subsequent batches.”
The Police further disclosed that “the recruitment process will continue in batches until 2028 in line with the recruitment schedule,” urging applicants to remain patient as the exercise continues.
The Service also cautioned applicants against misinformation about the recruitment process and warned them not to pay money to anyone claiming they could facilitate recruitment.
The statement, signed by the Director-General of Public Affairs, Deputy Commissioner of Police Grace Ansah-Akrofi, urged applicants to rely only on official communication from the Ghana Police Service regarding the exercise.
