Stanbic Bank launches Ghana-China cultural exchange programme
Stanbic Bank Ghana has in collaboration with Anhui TianChen Cultural Development Limited Corporation launched a youth cultural exchange programme between Ghana and China.
The youth exchange programme will see 10 school-going children in Ghana between the ages of 12 and 17 years, spending a week in China.
The process for selection and participation in the cultural exchange programme is open till 7th August 2018 and interested students must write or record a video or voice note about their aspirations and the things dear to them. The winners of the competition will be announced on the 9th of August 2018.
This initiative targets to promote tourism between Ghana and China, while promoting the use of debit cards to promote the cashless agenda. The Standard Bank/ICBC I go Ghana-I go China loyalty card programme is an initiative by Stanbic Bank to promote tourism between Ghana and China by offering incentives for travel, shopping and leisure to the travelling public visiting the two countries.
Head of Marketing and Communication at Stanbic Bank, Mawuko Afadzinu said the cultural exchange project perfectly lends itself to the bank’s CSI strategy on promoting education, adding “We are more than just a bank. Whatever your thing is, Stanbic Bank is here to support you to make it come true.”
