The initiative aimed at bringing students together to touch the lives of deprived children within their immediate environs.

In an attempt to raise funds, the vibrant student group visited all the six (6) major traditional halls of the University and some hostels to solicit for items for the donation.

In addition to the door-to-door collection campaign, the group organised a student-based donation movement and fundraising party, where students bought masks which served as the party tickets to raise funds in support of the noble cause..

Donation

On 15th March, 2014, the Project Hope team donated to New Life International Children’s Home at Efutu in the central region. The event took place amidst an array of activities, including pick and act and musical chairs.

The team also made available edibles in the form of packs of “fried rice”, drinks, biscuits and toffees to each child and some members of the community who came to witness the event.

The students also shared words of hope, encouragement and motivation with the kids to spur them to higher heights in their academics.
