I won’t steal your money - Akufo-Addo
The 2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party has assured the people of Ghana that when given the mandate to serve in January 2017, he is coming to power to focus solely on the improvement of the wellbeing of Ghanaians and will not line his pockets with the people’s money.
Addressing the Chiefs of Dambai yesterday prior to a meeting with constituency executives and the NPP parliamentary aspirants, both winners and losers, Nana Akufo-Addo stated that “I won’t steal your money because I am not a thief. I know fully well the dangerous implications of corruption on the fortunes of any country, and my track record in public service and in my private life should assure you that it is not at this time that I want to get involved in corrupt acts.”
