Kaleo youth grateful to President

The Youth of the Kaleo Traditional Area in the Upper West Region have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating Mr John Bosco Bomansaan as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Nadowli-Kaleo District.

According to the youth, this piece of news “came to us in no surprise because Mr Bomansaan has amply demonstrated his indelible loyalty to the umbrella fraternity for well over a decade as a constituency secretary for the Nadowli North and West constituencies and now the Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency. He shepherded the constituency as the chief scribe to countless parliamentary victories even at the time the NDC party was in difficult times—opposition.”

In a statement signed by Mr David Banamini, the youth said “the zoom of your lenses on Mr Bomansaan does not only elicit the right political calculations and permutations but amplifies the choruses that have been sung by the people for a long time.”

“This is a young gentleman who is not only diligent and hardworking but has a huge pedigree of respect across the political divide and can tone down the apathy towards governance and government activities at the local level,” the statement added.

The statement said Mr Bomansaan’s nomination would build lots of bridges in the region, district and constituency, as the people were ready to participate and strive to see development at the local level as opposed to their sitting on the fence.

“We cannot but applaud you once again for choosing one of our own, a youthful blood, to help anchor your policies, programmes and projects for which the people of Ghana gave you their mandate,” the statement concluded.
