Lead counsel for the NPP, Mr Godfred Dame told the Human Rights Court on Thursday)  that Afoko's comments in the media landscape were prejudicial to the suit that he (Afoko) had brought to the court challenging his suspension as the National Chairman of the NPP.

"Despite the suit, Mr Afoko is moving from one media house to the other making derogatory comments about the acting National Chairman,  the Flagbearer and the party itself, " he said, reports Graphic Online’s Emmanuel Ebo Hawkson who was in court on Thursday.

Responding to the comment by Mr Dame,  lead counsel for Afoko,  Mr Safo Buabeng admitted that Afoko had been making comments on the media but denied that they were prejudicial to the case.

The presiding judge,  Mr Justice Anthony Yeboah, after hearing from both counsels declined to make any comment on the issue by simply saying "no comment".

The case has been adjourned to April 12, 2016 to allow both parties to complete the filing of their statements of case, witness statements and other documents.
