He said the youth of the party would do sacrificial jobs by going extra miles without any hindrance to ensure that the NPP formed a government to rescue Ghanaians from what he described as “their current economic mess.”

Mr Awuku said this when he inaugurated a 25-member youth working committee of Awutu Senya West at Awutu Bawjaise in the Central Region.

He stated that the Youth were more than ready to move from villages to urban areas to campaign vigorously to win massive votes to enable the NPP to win power.

Mr Awuku said majority of Ghanaians spent the Christmas in a sorrowful mood as a result of “mismanagement of state resources by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government”.

The youth organiser lamented that nurses, teachers and other government workers were crying over non-payment of salary and other allowances by the government for one and half years.

He asked Ghanaians not to hesitate to reject the NDC government, led by President John Mahama in the 2016 general election.

Mr Awuku observed that NPP, led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as presidential candidate, was the only political party which could find an antidote to the economic problem facing the nation.

Mr Yaw Adomako Baiffe, Deputy National Communication Director, slammed the NDC government for doing little to alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians.

The former first National Vice Chairman of NPP, Mr Fred Oware, commended the Awutu Senya West youth for their sense of direction and determination to work hard to snatch the parliamentary seat in the 2016 elections.

He said the NDC government had disappointed Ghanaians by not telling them the true state of the economy, adding that Ghanaians were suffering and urged the NDC government to rebuild the economy.
