Publish names of contestants — NPP

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged all regional election committees  to ensure that latest by the close of work  today,  January 20, 2014,  the names of contestants and venues for the elections are published at all regional party offices.

That,  according to a statement signed by a  Director of  Elections of the NPP, Mr Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah,  was for the benefit of all contesting candidates in the upcoming regional executive elections on  January 25, 2014.

The statement also urged the regional election committees to publish, in addition, the names of representatives of all recognised Tescon institutions  and 10 patrons to vote in the region, as well as names of 10 members from the Council of Elders to vote in the region.

The statement urged the election committees to ensure immediate compliance with this directive.
